A corpmate of mine had just finished training for Gallente Carrier, and while working his way toward that goal had arranged for the carrier to be built in a shipyard not too many light years away from the area where he’ll be storing and using the new ship.
My wife always is curious about EvE, which I suppose is a good thing (she doesn’t despise it so we’re good there…). She was always amused by the data, spreadsheets, and voluminous amounts of information
So I put the big boy overalls on, and brought my hulk out in 0.0 a couple days ago. One of my other corpmates and I joined up with a friend in the belt, and he provided tanking from the larger rats there.
I’m so bummed. The next EvE Online novelization, entitled EvE: The Burning Life, looks like it’s been delayed.
For the last year or so of playing EvE (I’m a little over 1 year old now), I’ve been almost strictly plying my trade in high security space. The first corporation I joined after I started playing had a POS in 0.0 in the Geminate region.
Just a quick note that I can now fly an Orca. It’s been one year in EvE for me (this past July) and will be 1 year in my current corporation (MicroCon Enterprises) next month.
As an industrial corporation, we keep a very low profile. We try to stay under the radar, maintaining our corporation goals, our mission, and making sure our pilots have a good time. Every once in a while some group of bored players (or inexperienced ones) comes along and slaps us with a war declaration.
A corpmate and I had planned on running a few level III missions some jumps away yesterday evening, so we met in the system where my battlecruiser was located, and proceeded to head out to another system relatively close by where the level III agent was.
I hated printing out Ombey’s maps and then having the pages fly all around when I need to find a particular map section. After much ado, I remembered making a series of little scrap paper notebooks using a tutorial I found

Every once in a while I check out the EvE forums, and every once in a while something strikes me as funny. This is one of those particular instances that stood out today.
