My wife is awesome. She made me this. It’s MalabrigoYarn from Hanks Yarn and Fiber. I helped her grid the pattern onto knitter’s graph paper, sort of like a pixel art pattern, and then she knitted it for me. It’s done in Fair Isle knitting style.
I think it came out quite good. She’s one of a kind.

Keep your hands on that woman! Very nice job.
You have, also, made a very effective theme. I especially like how new comments are bright yellow (although I recommend you use a different color, hard to read) until it fades Also, the twitter icon on my picture should be smaller and more in the corner.
that is one awesome hat!
Nicely done. I assume this means she approves of your EVE playing. If only we were all so lucky. How did you get her to be pro-EVE? Coincidentally, I’ve just blogged about that very issue.
Stan, my wife supports my gaming habit for EvE. I usually am on after the kids go to bed (8PM EST or so), and that gives me time to spend with the family during the day, and that time at night is "my time". She married a geek, she knew that going in, and she gets to knit (her hobby) at the same time. So it's a win-win situation. It's cool in that she's actually listening when I explain sovereignty concepts, my ships, industrial stuff, etc. to her.
Awesome hat is awesome.
