…or how to be creative and functional at the same time.
I hated printing out Ombey’s maps and then having the pages fly all around when I need to find a particular map section. After much ado, I remembered making a series of little scrap paper notebooks using a tutorial I found here on Photojojo.
It’s a nifty way to bind (pretty durably I might add) the pages together to make a nice map book with minimal cost involved. Basically glue, a paper grocery bag (or construction paper), and a copy of Ombey’s maps printed double sided on regular printer paper.
I would experiment with the tutorial first to get the hang of it, but once you do it, it’s really easy. Plus you can end up making all sorts of different sized notebooks for various stuff like keeping track of EvE related notes, a list of the EvE ship models you want for Christmas, or a drawing book for your significant other so she (or he) doesn’t get bored while you’re glued to the monitor pew pew-ing (you get the idea).
